10. 10/02 Windrift Music's 2002 Songwriting Competition Winners

"We received entries from all four corners of the globe, and from all five of the major continents, including submissions from South Africa, England, Australia, Russia, and Hong Kong and from some fairly remote places such as Trinidad & Tobago, and the Faroe Islands, and of course many from those living closer to home, in the United States and Canada."
The song "Trust" by Young Sons places the group on the Windrift 2002 Compilation CD.
Windrift Music noted "All of the 18 Finalists will have their songs featured on our Compilation CD Sampler, which will be distributed to thousands of locations, including radio stations for airplay, A & R staff at record companies, and sold throughout major chain music stores. Our Finalists were (in alphabetical order)"

The "24 Challenge" is a competition, based on a math game created in 1988, that is played at a  lightning-quick speed at sites around the nation, from San Diego to the Northeast.
